As the assistant stage manager and weapons handler for Clue, I worked closely with a deck lead backstage to ensure everything ran smoothly. With a cast of 19 people, my responsibilities included creating all of the backstage runsheets and cueing scenic transitions to keep the flow of the show. I also managed the weapons, making sure they were safely handled, ready for each performance, and locked up at the end of the day. It was a fast-paced environment, and the many large set pieces barely fit backstage which led to a very cramped atmosphere which was very demanding. The show finally coming together was riveting to watch and the final performance was extremely fun to watch from the wings.
