I am about to graduate from Elon University with a BA in Theatrical Design and Technology with a concentration in Stage Management and an AB in Environmental and Sustainability Studies.  As part of my academic journey, I’m currently conducting undergraduate research on theatrical design in the AIDS plays, where I explore how design elements can convey the cultural and emotional impact of the epidemic to a modern audience. During my time at Elon, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various areas of theatre. I’ve worked as a stitcher, which has broadened my understanding of the production process and the technical aspects of costume design. I’ve also served as a Resident Assistant, where I developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, I’ve worked as an Orientation Leader, helping incoming students transition to college life and creating a welcoming community. These experiences have helped me build a well-rounded skill set that I carry into my work as a stage manager.
