Stage managing As You Like It was an exciting and unique challenge, as it was an adaptation of Shakespeare's classic play with a twist; incorporating zombies and high-octane fight sequences. With a 30-person cast, my role involved staying on top of all the moving parts, especially during rehearsals and performances. I was responsible for running intimacy calls and fight calls to ensure the safety and coordination of all involved, particularly during the intense, choreographed battle scenes.

The zombies were a standout feature, glowing in the dark to add an eerie atmosphere to the production. These moments required precise timing and coordination, especially when managing the transitions between the more traditional aspects of the play and the zombie-infused action. From overseeing fight choreography to ensuring safe interactions during intimate scenes, stage managing As You Like It was a dynamic and fast-paced experience, blending Shakespearean drama with high-energy, immersive action.
